Pictures the scene, 17 acres, accessible by a paved county road, just minutes from town. This slice of heaven starts off with a big open field out in the front, with the home being set back from the main road about 1/8th of a mile. Half way between the main road and the home is a fence with a lockable gate, that provides abundance of gain feelings for you and your house as you sleep your nights away in this beautiful country environment.
The home is a 1400 +/- quadrate foot 3 bedroom, 2 bath duplicate wide mobile home. It is a split plan style lay out with the scholar Bedroom on one side of the home and the remaining two bedrooms on the far other side. The Living room, Dining room, and kitchen make up the middle section, which also includes a nice warming Fireplace that faces the living room. It keeps the living area nice and cozy on the nice brisk North Florida winter nights.
Usa
Speaking of North Florida, this property is placed in Starke, which is in Bradford County. Bradford county is about 25 miles North of Gainesville, Florida. It is practically 45 miles South West of Jacksonville and 60 miles do West of St. Augustine, which has some of the most fantastic beaches you could ever want to go and hang out on. It is also renowned for being the oldest city in the Usa. So there are a whole of historical sites to examine there and a great place to spend your free time exploring.
Back to the 17 acres, as stated already, there is a front pasture that is clear, and the normal area nearby the home is clear as well. We also started a house pad a few year back towards the back of the 17 acres, that we had intended on building a house on one day, but fate has changed our plans obviously. We cleared close to an acre where this house pad is, and the house pad is practically 75% complete. So between the home site and house pad areas, there are about 6 acres that are cleared, the rest is pretty heavily wooded, with beautiful hardwood trees. We have mostly Oaks, Maples, and Magnolias, but there is one section about three acres or so that has beautiful Cyprus trees in it as well.
The back side of this paradise that we called home is bordered by a 200 + acre tree farm, on one side is a 5 acre place with a home on it and the other side is a 67.17 acre place that we used to own, but we sold last year to a fantastic consolidate who are currently working on building there home way back in there. There in fact is only one neighbor who is "close" and they are on the 5 acre piece, and there is a fence between. Good fences make good neighbors..Lol
If you like to nature watch, or maybe you are a hunter, this place is perfect for either. We have an abundance of wildlife that walk right through the yard on a regular basis. Two of our favorites to watch were the deer and turkey. We could sit on the front porch in the morning and watch the turkey walk by, as many as ten or twelve and then in the evenings, as we were eating dinner, we could look out the rear window in our dining area, and see the deer grazing in the back yard.
Job opportunities in South Florida have encouraged us to leave our paradise in the North, and it is to much of a challenge to contend it from 250 miles away. Sure we could rent it out, and we even have a inherent tenant in mind, but we feel in the long run, we are good off selling it and maybe buying something else later down the road if we determine to ever move back.
